Once you have processed some samples from us or provided us with your own samples or order specifications, we are able to work out material consumption based on the patterns from the sampling stage or from patterns provided by you. We will then obtain prices for any materials from external suppliers chosen during the sourcing stage so we can put together a fixed price offer and provide you with payment instructions. Terms of payment are negotiable and will be discussed in confidence and on an individual basis. We generally do not offer credit to new customers.
At TGH we believe that preparation is as important as the actual production. So after you have approved our samples and have placed the order for the bulk production, we will order all materials required to get started and digitally plot the patterns, ready for optimal cutting as soon as the fabrics arrive. All materials such as labels, buttons etc are also ordered based on the project requirements. We will also set up the production floor for the most efficient processing and carry out any machine calibration and other preparations based on your requirements such as preparing screens for screen printing.
This is where the main work of the bulk production process is carried out. First, the materials are CUT according to the patterns plotted earlier. Then the workers MAKE the garments by sewing the fabric pieces together and applying any other process needed to make them. Finally, we TRIM any excess threads, add labels etc and carry out quality control on each garment to ensure every small imperfection is removed before being processed further.
Once the garments are made, we will carry out any post-production processes required to get the garments ready to be worn by your valued customers. This usually includes washing and ironing but depending on what your requirements are, may also include dying, pre-shrinking, anti-pilling treatment and more. We then add any tags and price labels before the garments are wrapped in individual bags (clear plastic as standard) and prepared for shipping.
Before the shipping, our senior managers will carry out final quality controls by taking spot samples and ensuring that your order is complete and all requirements have been met before the order is sent out to you. We offer a variety of shipping options including airfreight (express or economy) and by sea. As you may expect, shipping by sea is usually the cheapest choice but can take up to 60 days. Whereas shipping via airfreight is much faster taking around 4-7 days, but it will also cost more.
